How to Use the Wheel Spinner

  1. 1Type or paste your entries into the text area — one per line or comma-separated. The wheel preview updates as you add items.
  2. 2Toggle "Remove winner" if you want the selected entry to disappear after each spin (useful for elimination-style draws).
  3. 3Toggle "Confetti" for a celebratory burst when the wheel stops.
  4. 4Click Spin. The wheel animates for about three seconds, slows down, and lands on a random entry. The winner is highlighted in gold text.
  5. 5Use fullscreen mode for projecting the wheel during live events — click the expand icon or press the fullscreen button.
  6. 6Check the spin count and colour legend below the wheel to track your session.

When to Use the Wheel Spinner

A Twitch streamer adds subscriber names to the wheel and spins live for a game-code giveaway. Fullscreen mode fills the stream overlay, confetti bursts on the winner, and "Remove winner" ensures nobody wins twice.

A teacher picks which student answers the next question by spinning the wheel with the class roster. The visual drama of the spinning wheel makes it more engaging than just calling a name — students actually want to be picked.

A lunch group can't decide where to eat. They add five restaurant options, spin, and commit to whatever the wheel chooses. The randomness removes debate and decision fatigue.

A workshop facilitator runs an icebreaker by adding topic prompts to the wheel and having each participant spin for their question. The removal toggle ensures no prompt is repeated.

Wheel Spinner vs. List & Name Picker

The Wheel Spinner is a visual, animated experience — the spinning animation, colour-coded slices, confetti, and fullscreen mode make it ideal for live audiences and on-screen presentations. The List Picker is faster and more practical for bulk selections — pick 10 winners at once, shuffle an entire list, and see ranked results with gold/silver/bronze badges. Choose the Wheel when the show matters; choose the Picker when you need quick, clean results. Try the List & Name Picker

Paste any list—student names, raffle tickets, trivia themes—and Randomify transforms it into a vivid, animated prize wheel. Toggle remove winners to burn through a list without repeats, or keep entries in play for ongoing games. The pointer, confetti, and responsive layout are all baked in, so you can screen-share on Zoom or embed the wheel in livestream overlays without complex setup.

Because spins run locally, your custom entries never leave the browser. Combine the wheel with the List Picker or Name Generator to quickly populate options, then let the crowd cheer while Randomify picks the winner. Great for pep rallies, content challenges, standups, and family game nights alike.

  • Pick a random winner from a list during streams or meetings.
  • Choose what to eat, play, or do next with a fun spinner.
  • Run classroom participation and random selection activities.
  • Use the List Picker to prep entries, then paste them here to spin.
  • Enable removal to deal cards, prizes, or tasks without repeats.
