Randomify Tool
List / Name Picker
Paste names, students, prizes, or tasks — then pick single or multiple winners in a click.
How to Use the List / Name Picker
- 1Enter your list in the text area — one name per line or separated by commas. You can also click Paste from Clipboard to import directly.
- 2Choose the number of winners using the input or quick-select buttons (1, 2, 3, 5, or 10).
- 3Toggle "Allow repeats" off if each winner must be unique.
- 4Click Pick Winners to draw your winners, or click Shuffle to randomise the entire list into a new order.
- 5Winners appear with ranked badges — gold for first, silver for second, bronze for third. Copy the results or run another draw.
When to Use the List / Name Picker
A teacher selects three students for classroom participation by pasting the class roster into the picker and drawing three unique winners. The gold-silver-bronze badges make it clear and fun.
A streamer running a giveaway pastes the list of eligible viewers, picks one winner live on camera, and screenshots the result as proof. The local-only processing means no viewer data touches a server.
A project manager randomises a 12-person team roster into a presentation order for the next sprint review. Shuffle mode reorders the entire list so everyone knows when they're up.
A family assigning household chores pastes the list of tasks, picks one per family member, and rotates each week by re-running the draw.
List / Name Picker vs. Wheel Spinner
Both tools pick random winners from a list, but the experience is different. The List Picker is fast and data-focused — paste, click, get results with ranked badges. The Wheel Spinner adds a visual, animated spinning wheel that builds suspense and works well for live audiences. Use the Picker when speed and clarity matter; use the Wheel when the moment calls for showmanship. Try the Wheel Spinner →
Paste a roster, prize list, or to-do queue into the textarea and Randomify will turn every line (or comma separated value) into clean chips ready for shuffling. Pick as many winners as you need, enforce unique draws for raffles, or allow repeats when you’re assigning recurring chores. Because the picker runs entirely in your browser, student names, contest entries, or internal tasks never leave your device.
Use the Shuffle action to reveal a complete randomized order, then copy results to share in group chats or meeting notes. The interface highlights each winning slot with celebratory numbering, making it easy to stream or project without extra formatting. It’s a fair draw in seconds—perfect for classrooms, giveaways, team standups, or anywhere impartial picks matter.
